Modbus/TCP support coming soon
We almost finished version 1.2 of our ScadaMobile app, currently in final beta testing stage, which adds support for Modbus/TCP and multiple simultaneous connections to a number of distributed PLCs or other device(s) supporting Modbus.
Version 1.2 features the same all in one intuitive interface, where remote system variables can be arranged and grouped in sections for quick supervision and response times far below any classic web-based Scada even if data is coming from disparate locations.
Full access mode now features a tabbed interface and the ability to upload source files on-the-fly while tags are being monitored. Therefore, system integrators will immediately see the effect of their changes without having to navigate through application views, allowing for even faster and simpler commissioning.
For authorised users, an added connections tab presents active connections and their links to sources for efficient network troubleshooting during deployment stages.
Additionally, new attribute tags have been added so that variables can now be interacted with and displayed in a number of new ways, including customised state labels, push buttons and switches.
Version 1.2 will be submitted to the App Store for review within the next couple of weeks.
